Three years of development. The same rigour in sourcing.

ASPRIVA takes a scientific approach to sourcing.

Every ASPRIVA formula was developed over three years according to the same scientific criteria: human studies, meaningful dosing and a positive risk-benefit profile. This rigour does not end with formulation. It continues in the sourcing of every single raw material. Cost is not the decisive selection criterion.

Raw material quality

Why every raw material requires its own standard.

01

Different Raw Materials. Different Quality Standards.

Plant-based raw materials and synthetic active ingredients carry different risk profiles. That is why ASPRIVA defines sourcing quality standards based on risk. The decisive question is not which raw material is easiest to obtain or cheapest to buy, but which quality evidence is appropriate for that specific ingredient.

02

For Plant-Based Raw Materials, Quality Starts in the Field.

For plant-based raw materials, origin, cultivation, pesticide risk and heavy metal exposure are central quality questions. Organic certification under the EU Organic Regulation can address important requirements here: controlled cultivation, avoidance of synthetic pesticides and traceability back to origin. ASPRIVA prefers this quality standard where it is meaningful and available for the raw material in question.

03

For Synthetic Ingredients, Manufacturing Control Matters.

For synthetic and fermented active ingredients, organic certification does not apply. The relevant factors are purity, identity, active ingredient content, synthesis by-products and possible solvent residues. That is why ASPRIVA requires pharmacopoeia quality according to Ph. Eur. or USP where appropriate, supported by a corresponding certificate of analysis. Such a CoA does not provide a blanket clearance, but concrete measured values against an internationally recognised reference.

04

Being Legally Marketable Is Not a Quality Promise.

Pharmacopoeia quality is not generally required by law for food supplements. ASPRIVA applies it nonetheless where it is relevant for the ingredient in question. A pharmacopoeia CoA with concrete measured values is more verifiable and more robust than a general certificate of conformity. Legal minimum requirements ensure marketability. They do not explain whether a raw material meets the quality standard of an ASPRIVA formula.
